My name is Ana Maksimova.
I was born in 1988 and developed creatively in the city of Vilnius, Lithuania. In my hometown, there is a so-called bohemian district (Užupis) that belongs to the people of art. This area has been compared to the the famous Montmartre district in Paris and is also called a separate republic with its self-proclaimed constitution. The creativity and spirit of freedom from these streets will forever remain a part of me!
Having comprehended the creative energy of my native places, in 2011 I moved to the equally beautiful and astonishing Finland, where I live, create paintings, and develop today.
I studied popular modern painting techniques that are relevant today for modern interiors, and came to the understanding that in the age of information technology, my paintings should not be overloaded with plots and forms, but should interact with the inner world of a person through colors and harmoniously complement the space.
Colors are one of those amazing algorithms of the Universe that can affect our soul and feelings, they can affect both psychological and physical states. Therefore, it is important for me that the painting does not just fit into interior trends, but that it favorably continue the inner world of a modern human.
