Movement represents for me a source of stability and an energy to be captured. Particularly receptive to the impermanence of the elements, I like to grasp this line of balance and space between constancy and movement, control and letting go. This is the principle of the bicycle, to be stable you have to release energy, that's what I feel when I create.
For fifteen years, tubes of paint have accompanied me on my travels, "for when". For me, that moment happened on April 1, 2020, when half of humanity is confined. The cellar of my building housed my brushes, saw the tubes of color spill out and my imagination was overflowing. First on sheets of a spiral notebook, then on canvas.
The geometric figures of my creations are dedicated to colors, which constitute and find my creative energy. The arrangements of shapes and reliefs, drawn with a knife, make the painting evolve according to the light, in an almost organic relationship to the material.
