Álvaro Urbanos Jiménez

I was born in Madrid, a musician and teacher by profession but a lover of art and all its forms. Since I was a child I have experimented and perfected the technique of drawing. Artistic creation is the greatest motivation in my daily life, both in music and drawing and both aspects are the fruit of my inspiration. My style is varied and open to new possibilities, although I have a great predilection for classical technique and the great masters of the Renaissance.

Graduated and Master in Solo Performance specializing in piano and I currently teach classes in Katarina Gurska Musical Education. As a composer, I won second prize at the Oskar Rieding International Competition for young performers and composers in Celje (Slovenia) in 2018. That same year I also had the opportunity to collaborate as a pianist in the short film "Le Prochain" directed by Raúl Herrera, a production that achieved recognition at important international festivals.
