Alona Santhorieieva
I was born in Ukraine in 1984, where I continue to live and work today.
From an early age, I was drawn to the world of art and creativity, which led me to pursue formal education in this field.
My journey as a painter truly began to flourish in 2015 when I started working with oil paints.
Since then, I've expanded my repertoire to include acrylic and watercolor, but oil remains my primary medium.
Painting is not just a profession for me; it's my greatest passion and a fundamental part of my life. Through my artwork, I find a powerful means of expressing my deepest emotions and feelings.
Each piece I create is a window into my inner world, offering viewers a glimpse of my perspective and experiences.
In my artistic process, I use a variety of techniques.I pay close attention to color, using it as a tool to infuse feeling into my paintings.
Detailed textures add depth and complexity to my work, while my use of light and shadow creates mood and atmosphere.
I take pride in the fact that each of my paintings is original, unique, and unrepeatable – a true reflection of the moment in which it was created.I firmly believe that paintings are more than just visual objects; they are a means of creating a presence that can be felt by the viewer.
My goal is not only to express my own emotions but also to evoke feelings in those who experience my art.
Through my work, I strive to create a connection between artist and viewer, bridging the gap between my inner world and the perceptions of those who engage with my creations!
