Yefim Shestik was born in the Ukraine in 1954.
In 1973 he has emigrated from Ukraine to Israel ..
From 1979 until 1981 he studied Graphics in
Haifa,were he graduated with a diploma in Graphic Design.
From 1982 until 1985 ,he studied Art History, Sculpture,Painting,Sketching,Drawings,Art Photography,Printing at the fine Arts School of Beer-Sheba. He graduated in 1985 with honors and he was qualified as a Senior Art Instructor.
In 1995, after completing teaching courses, he received an art teacher diploma.
From 2000 until 2005 he studied architecture and he earned a diploma in Architecture Engineering.
From 2009 until June 2010 studied Graphics programs: Photoshop,Illustrator,Indesine,Flash and Dreamwiver
In Karmiel,were he graduated with diploma .

Creating my art I have no preferences to any of art styles because they are just means to make my art ideas alive.
Sometimes I create my artworks one art style
Sometimes I choose another style.
Sometimes are the same idea I create in my artworks in two styles and they look very interesting in both styles.

I have to admit that my most artworks are bronze sculptures
which I made them by my hands personally.
Bronze is my most loved material.
As I am and an architect I can do and model and then make it bigger, in same proportions,
I am able to create artworks looking at photos and drawings and do
it as wax Sculptures or clay Sculptures, including moldings and
casting into resin, metal or plaster. 3-D designs can be made for figurines,
giftware or general product design.,

At years 2007-2008, I have worked on big 3,5 m. The sculpture which I have executed working at bronze art casting plant, where I have performed alone, about 90 % of welding. and polishing work in bronze,

“ Birds as a symbol of Love, Faithfulness, Partnership.. ”
Birds, since ancient times, are presented as a a symbol of
Human soul, faithfulness, love and the relation of women and men.
Their song reflects a love song in lovers hearts .
Their flight reflects a human definition to be free.
Their faithfulness reflects a human aspiration to infinite love.
I represent all these various works are In sculpture and painting and photography.

The meaning of the Art.
Some modern artists have often put to much input to innovations in the Art and really had created many art styles and enriched the Art with magnificent artworks, but some artist was so involved in a process of innovation the other important issue of having lost in the process.
Purposes of art, is positively to be influent on people soul and mind, that people will get from art the most important moral value God's gave to us basic moral code - the Ten Commandment, that LOVE - is the most important God's gift to us, and not the Money. .

My artistic approach.
I believe that as is a public person, and have to act in a responsible way in People's favor. By creating the Art an Artist have to make the influence on people conscious in order to return the universal values to their harts. These are my role and philosophy. Creating artworks, I am embodying, my soul, my fillings, my ideas and my art object are becoming a life energy, which I believe having the positive influence on the People's soul and minds.

PARTICIPATION IN FINE ART EXHIBITIONS

PERSONAL EXHIBITIONS

1. At the year 1985, I have exposed my Art in the solo exhibition, which took place at the town Karmiel in the Union Building,
where I have exposed my paintings, drawings, sculptures, and Performance size 50 sq. m named "Chess against War."
It is Performance 3-D dimensions artwork. In which, an audience, takes part in my artwork, stepping into my artwork, and leaving their traces.
Meaning that each of us leaving their traces in the world chess game are responsible for what happens around of us and in our whole world.
This Artwork, named "Chess against War " based on Shakespeare's statement " All World -is a stage, all people - players ".
The artwork has been created in different art techniques and medium,
He has drawn on a nylon floor(49 square meters) false three angle perspective.
Black and white chess cells which come to end to an opposite black wall at the beginning of the white Silhouette's feet.Silhouette
cares the wounded in a had chess soldier, expressing the pity.
On the left corner, two chess armies (ceramics about 50 cm tall) At black color are standing in the black area facing each other, are ready to start the war.
At the right corner, there are broken chess pieces expressing the result of the war. .,

At January 2010, exhibitions at Karmiel in Karmiel Municipal gallery, exhibiting paintings and bronze sculptures and digital art.
5. At date 15 September until 5 November 2010, He had personal Exhibition at town Keriat Haim State Israel.
6. At date18 December until 8 Februar2011, He has personal Exhibition at town ZeFat State Israel.

Since 1980, held many group art exhibitions in Israel and abroad.
1. For the first time, in the year 1980, participated in collective Art exhibitions in Culture and Sports Building in town Karmiel, where I was exhibiting my Drawings, Paintings, and Ceramic sculptures.
2. In the year 1983, participated in collective Art exhibitions, which took place at the town Carmiel.
3. In the year 1983, participated in collective Israeli state Art exhibitions, which took place at the South in town Yeruham.
