The painting is a parody of Pablo Picasso's famous work "Absinthe Drinker". It plays with the theme of absurdity and peculiarity by replacing the original characters with a dog, adding a comical and absurd touch to the work.
The artist aims to evoke a sense of wonder and laughter in the viewer by presenting an unusual interpretation of the famous painting. The use of bright colors and expressive painting style helps to emphasize the eccentricity and uniqueness of the piece.
The parody of "Absinthe Drinker" comments on modern alcohol consumption culture and its impact on society. The depiction of a dog instead of a person, while evoking laughter, softens the painting's message about the serious social issue of addiction.
The painting also serves as an allegory on the theme of human weaknesses and dependencies. The psychedelic background and the dog's red eyes symbolize the state of drunkenness and loss of self-control. Thus, the artist raises questions about health, social responsibility, and self-control.

Born in Uralsk, Kazakhstan, I discovered early that art was my voice—a way to translate the unseen emotions of both humans and animals onto canvas. My work lives at the intersection of raw expression and storytelling, where dogs become mirrors of human complexity and mythic women reclaim their narratives.
Life shaped my perspective early: witnessing my mother's battle with illness, the absence of my grandfather (a painter I'd never meet), and the solitude of being an outsider sharpened my eye for unspoken truths. Painting became my rebellion—a place where vulnerability and strength collide. Self-taught but relentless, I've spent years mastering mediums from oil to digital, not for technique alone, but to capture the energy of a gaze, the weight of a pause.
Now, my art evolves into mythic territory—women of legend reimagined with contemporary fire, paired with dogs whose eyes hold centuries of wisdom. Every piece asks: What do we share with creatures we call "lesser," and what ancient power have we forgotten?
My brush is my bridge—between species, between past and present, between Kazakhstan's steppes and the world's galleries.
