The painting depicts a silhouette of a man walking along a red line.
The person symbolizes the society and the people of Russia, who follow the thread of time. This thread, like the thread of Ariadne, connects the past and the bright future, which is not yet visible, but it is already felt in the changes that have passed during these not so many years of the young country. The future is inevitable, changes will surely come and everything depends on this "person".

We see the stately figure of a “man” who, under the influence of time, also changes and is reborn into something new - symbolizing the change of generations of people and society as a whole.

It is surrounded by iconic objects of recent years:
⁃ On the right we see the towering stunning high-rise complex "Moscow City", built in a few years, for the development and consolidation of business;
⁃ Above the high-rise complex, we see a rocket launch from the Vostochny Cosmodrome;
⁃ Slightly to the left of the rocket, the outlines of a part of the dam located in St. Petersburg, connecting Bronka and Sestroretsk, and closing the motor transport ring around the city are discerned;
⁃ Above the dam, in the overflow of water, we see the completed plan of the century - the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station, an outstanding example of the continuity of Soviet and post-Soviet engineering thought;
⁃ Above the hydroelectric power station - an industrial complex, as a symbol of Russia's development in the industrial sector, as well as increasing the efficiency and safety of production, thanks to new advanced technologies (for example: Tobolsk-Polymer);
⁃ To the left of the “person” we see the construction of an oil production and oil pipeline system, which is one of the main industrial areas of Russia at the moment;
⁃ Above the “man” rises Novovoronezh NPP-2, with a reactor plant that has no analogues in the world, which symbolizes the use of a peaceful atom and the transition to an era of safe for nature and efficient energy;
⁃ Mixing with steam from the pipes of the nuclear power plant, the features of the most complex technical structure are smoothly drawn - the cable-stayed bridge "Russian" - a stately slender giant of engineering thought, which has no analogues, thanks to the world's longest bridge span, built in Vladivostok across the Eastern Bosphorus;
⁃ The bridge smoothly turns into a haze from which you can see the silhouette of the port - "Ust-Luga", which is the largest in the Baltic States;
⁃ Above the picture, we see a stately flight of birds flying behind the latest generation supersonic aircraft Su-57 and MiG-31.

The formation of the dynamics of the picture is diagonal: from the lower left edge to the upper right. This technique was not chosen by chance. This layout and positioning show progress and movement. The picture seems to move with time, showing its rapid variability and dynamics.

The painting is executed in colors ranging from dark to light. The dark monolithic dense color, which immediately catches the eye, symbolizes the past and the present, going diagonally along the "time line" to a light, almost transparent color, symbolizing a bright future that has not yet been formed, but already has light touches and images. The light color scheme of the picture with the contours of objects, which occupies a third of the canvas, tells us that a lot has been done at the moment, but there is still a lot to come.
