Artistic approach

Designer and artist, my artistic expression is watercolor. I have always liked possibilities of this painting. Watercolor can be very bright but also intense and nuanced with colors of incredible richness.
I am interested in the human. The subject can be treated with lightness or gravity, the creative or destructive side of the man. I am touched by subjects such as the impact of man on the environment, the use of chemicals and their effects, deforestation, human violence .... For more lightness, I like this creator with the work of craftsmen, his humanist side, his kindness ....
I am a brain person and I ask myself a lot of questions about our human condition, society and the environment. I watch and learn about news topics. All this pushes me to think. My thoughts are articulated with my imagination in a phase of creation. I realize some sketches, I study the harmony of the colors, I put the light and I build the depth of the painting. All these steps are important to me because they are the cornerstone of my work.
 There is always some uncertainty in its implementation phase because the magic of watercolor lies in the behavior of the water. Depending on the amount of water used and the support, a surprising result can be obtained. It's a dance for two that is practiced. The Water and the Artist are an expressive and creative duo for the realization of a work.
