Alexandre SIMON, né en 1965, est un artiste peintre autodidacte, originaire des Yvelines.
Il dessine depuis l'âge de 8 ans mais choisit l'informatique comme métier.
Il apprend, à travers différents stages, et par lui-même, la majorité des techniques de créations (peinture à l'huile, acrylique, aquarelle, pastel, fusain)
Son travail d'informaticien lui a permis d’appréhender facilement le dessin sur ordinateur
(infographie bitmap, vectoriel et 3D)
A partir des années 2000, il s'organise afin de pouvoir exercer son art à mi-temps
avec des périodes de plusieurs années ou il ne fait plus que cela.
En 2015, il quitte la région parisienne et vit en fourgon aménagé, afin de pouvoir se rendre facilement sur les lieux qui l’inspirent (Normandie, Bretagne, Loire-Atlantique).
Depuis 2019, il choisit de se poser entre Le Croisic et La Bernerie-en-Retz.
Depuis septembre 2021, il est artiste peintre à plein temps.

Alexandre SIMON, born in 1965, is a self-taught painter from the Yvelines region.
He has been drawing since the age of 8 but chose a career in computer science.
Through various workshops and self-teaching, he mastered a wide range of creation techniques (oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, charcoal).
His background in computer science made it easy for him to transition to digital drawing (bitmap, vector, and 3D graphics).
From the 2000s onward, he arranged his schedule to devote part-time to his art, with periods where he focused solely on painting.
In 2015, he left the Paris region and began living in a converted van, allowing him to easily travel to inspiring locations such as Normandy, Brittany, and the Loire-Atlantique region.
Since 2019, he has settled between Le Croisic and La Bernerie-en-Retz.
As of September 2021, he has become a full-time painter.
