P.S. I love you was made because of its beautiful intricacies. The ropes, the structure, the size, it reminds us how much work goes into these beautiful wood ships.
This piece is a gorgeously laser cut .120 thick mirror-like polished steel foreground floating above a custom wooden background built right here in my own shop. Built in the heart of the fishing capital of the world, you can have this piece sitting in your office, home, or even sent as a gift. It incorporates great detail coming in with over 900 regions, this steel art comes with a punch. Each line was carefully drawn to encompass as much detail as possible.
There will be a limited run of 64 made. Each piece comes with a custom plate that includes the number and date it was built, and a signature on the back of the wood panel with a clear varnish on both sides to protect it from years to come. It includes wooden mounting brackets to sit comfortably on any solid wall and a custom wooden crate to safely package and ship to any location.
The wood panel is made from carefully chosen Oak, Poplar, Rose Wood, or any other available wood species at the time of sale. Each piece can be customized to your liking with personalized letters, sentences, slogans, and of course the species of wood.

My steel designs are done on a 11 gauge polished stainless steel and laser cut to perfection. The piece is then placed over a beautiful hand chose hard wood to provide depth and shadow within the very precise extrusions. All customers can happily choose a desired size, wood species, design (custom or premade), as well as other accessories such as a roped border or wood stains and finishes.
