The artist wanted to reproduce the subject of a 2016 oil painting, "Smile of sadness". He created them in different colors and on different colored supports. The subject is a girl he dated, so much so that, for a period, she became redundant in his works. Here she is portrayed in a room, in a particularly intimate moment. Other print colors on request. Alessandro Flavio Bruno is a contemporary Italian artist born in 1986 in Vittoria, Sicily. Growing up in the Sicilian hinterland, he was influenced by his parents, both graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts, which sparked his interest in drawing and painting from an early age. As a self-taught artist, he studied and experimented with various techniques throughout his formative years.

During his early high school years, Bruno briefly focused on comic book drawing before developing an interest in surrealism, cubism, and purism. In 2005, he received recognition for his artistic talent when he won a prize for a drawing on peace in a competition organized by UNESCO. The following year, he designed the cover and several illustrations for the poetry book ...E tu a ritenermi by Paolo Sberna.

In 2011, after beginning his university studies in Sicily, Bruno moved to Turin to pursue a degree in Architecture. His artistic journey continued to flourish, culminating in 2012 when one of his paintings was exhibited in the international exhibition TAG INDELEBILI in Bologna.

Bruno lived in Rome from 2018 to 2020, where the city's contrasts inspired his search for beauty. Currently, he works as an architect and designer, focusing on scenography, stands, and installations for various events.
