Chromatic Intersections (2025) Digital Arts by Alessandro Butera
"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

A dense weave of vertical and horizontal rectangles and lines intersects and overlaps. I've used a bold and diverse palette – from electric magenta to bright yellow, from intense blue to scarlet red, with touches of cyan, green, orange, and black. These vibrant colors stand out with great energy against the white, creating a strong and visually stimulating contrast. Every color block and every line contribute to creating depth and movement through their overlaps, suggesting the complex architecture of an abstract metropolis or a system in constant becoming.
The artwork evokes the feeling of a contained energy ready to be unleashed, of elements moving and intersecting in a defined but not limited space. It is not a figurative representation, but an emotional and spatial synthesis of the visual experience, filtered through my abstract geometric and spatialist sensibility. The play of overlaps and the sharp contrast with the white create multiple planes and illusory solidity, inviting the eye to explore and discover new visual paths and spatial relationships.
I wanted to capture the pulsating energy, vitality, and layering that characterize this composition, a place where form and color coexist in a dynamic and fascinating balance on the luminous background of space.
