A lamp representing a forest nymph - a Dryad. In ancient Greek mythology, Dryads were embodiments of the soul of the forest. They protected the trees and were considered the guardians of all plant life. The Dryad was born and died with the tree that grew in the forest. Dryads had amazing abilities that allowed them to protect their tree from any threats. They could summon storms and hurricanes, manipulate plants and animals. According to legend, people who plant trees and take care of them are under the special protection of nymphs. Dryads will never let him get lost in the forest.
