Aleksandra Raisic is a contemporary artist who does oil-on-canvas paintings suited for modern interiors. She executes such paintings that make the viewer trans end into another world. Born in 1983, Aleksandra has been involved in arts ever since her childhood. She transfers her passion onto the canvas. What's unique about her artwork is the explosion of colors she uses. The observer feels an intensity of emotion in the freshness of an unexpected combination of colors. She lives in Belgrade, Serbia. She usually sells her paintings in Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia... 

a Self-taught painter
I've been doing oil-on-canvas paintings since 2001. In the beginning, I did landscape paintings and later I moved on to female figures, as that was my way of evoking sensuality and beauty.
Within the last couple of years, abstraction became dominant in my paintings. In that way, my artwork whispers such verses that arouse emotion in the observer.
I've been painting in a large format since 2018. as they provide more possibilities to express my ideas.
I also like to paint animals and connect them to human emotions.
While I paint, the notion of time disappears. I always paint... I paint even when I don't because in fact, I always paint in my head and there is a sea of paintings waiting for me to translate them onto a canvas.
