An abstract painting with geometric shapes and abstract elements. Inspired by the photo of the stairs I saw and watching Gaudi's creations, I created this painting.
Used a view pointing straight down into the center of the staircase. This creates a strong sense of depth and draws the eye inward.
The colors are muted and earthy. Beige, taupe, light brown and soft turquoise/blue-green are used for the staircase and surrounding area. Darker browns and blacks define the shadows and well of the staircase.
Stylized and abstract. A realistic object, the details are not hyper-realistic. The lines are bold and the shapes are somewhat simplified, giving the painting a modern feel.
The spiral composition of the staircase is visually dominant, leading the viewer's eye in a circle, creating a sense of movement and even a slight vertigo. The radial lines at the bottom reinforce this effect.
The painting has a matte texture, painted in tempera and gouache on black textured paper.

Alexandra Fili was born in Perm, Russia, in 1974. She studied at the Moscow Art and Industrial Institute at the Faculty of Graphic Design 2008-2014, at the Modern School of Calligraphy 2016.
Participated in the International exhibition of Calligraphy 2017.
She worked as an illustrator on microstocks.
Creates works in graphics with pencil and soft materials. He works in the technique of abstract textured painting, abstract oil paintings, acrylic paints in the technique of hyperrealism.
Studying at a calligraphy school and later participating in an international exhibition gave impetus to experimenting with different materials. Natural character abilities allow working in different techniques and expanding interests, so the artist does not have a specific style in which she creates works. I also hope for feedback from viewers and buyers, what technique they liked, and in this consonance I will create more drawings, paintings or textures.
