It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

This series, studies the personal experience of living in the Crimea for the period of political events in 2014, in parallel with the experience of my grandmother during World War II through the figure of Joseph Beuys. These studies, which are intertwined with the Beuys myth, invite the viewer to explore the form of individual perception with collective memory, the factors that influence this process, cultural heritage, the dual orientation of realities, and the layers of our personal history.

Albina Onay, born in 1979 in Russia, now lives and works in Turkey. Graduating with honors from Istanbul Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in 2022, she has established herself as an artist with profound reflections on time, memory and the subconscious.
Working primarily in oil on canvas and paper, Albina seeks to connect the past to the present through a personal sense of time and space. She enjoys observing how events can transform from ordinary stories to complex literary narratives, enriched with multiple meanings and contextual shifts. To do this, she combines her interest in the concepts of time, memory, and the subconscious with her personal perceptions of the past and present, exploring these ideas through texture in her work.
Albina is particularly interested in the difference between reality and memory, and how memory can create illusions by gathering diverse impressions. Her motivation lies in the creative analysis that comes from the interplay between contrasts and contradictions, exploring where the boundary between reality and illusion is drawn.
