Unique Piece.
My artistic practice revolves around giving life to artworks by utilising recycled magazines that would otherwise be discarded and thrown away. This practice is particularly relevant in a society that is only now coming to terms with sustainability of the planet for future generations.
This theme of giving a new life and purpose to objects that were once unwanted and unnecessary is relevant to me and my work , and complies with my vision of transforming everyday objects into artworks that invite the viewer to see beyond its original source.
Tiggy is a wall sculpture made up with folded and manipulated paper. The intricately folded paper has been transformed into colourful textural geometrical forms becoming sculptural piece in its own right.

Alberto Fusco, born in Naples, Italy, is a London-based artist known for his innovative use of recycled materials. Fusco relocated to London in 1994 to further his passion for figurative art, particularly sculpture. He pursued his artistic studies at Roehampton University, where he earned a BA (Hons) in Fine Art with a specialization in mosaics.
Fusco’s current practice focuses on transforming discarded paper magazines into vibrant artworks.
