It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Nato a Caltanissetta il 12/12/1990 e cresciuto nella vicina San Cataldo, Alberto Antonio Foresta si appassiona fin dalla tenera età all’arte e in partir colar modo alla pittura, grazie all’influenza del padre Vincenzo, anche lui pittore. Intraprende gli studi accademici presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo, in cui consegue la laurea triennale in Didattica dell’Arte con la tesi Einfühlung, “Sentire dentro” l’opera d’arte. Il processo empatico tra oggetto artistico e spettatore attraverso la fisiognomica, l’empatia e le neuroscienze; prosegue gli studi teorici a Firenze, laureandosi in Storia dell’Arte presso la Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia, con la tesi dal titolo La critica d’arte di David Freedberg. Da “Il Potere delle immagini” alle neuroscienze; vive e lavora attualmente tra Palermo e Milano, luogo di inedite sperimentazioni e ricerche.
Interessato alla società e alle sue contraddizioni, attraverso l’utilizzo di molteplici canali espressivi, dalla fotografia alla pittura, dall’installazione alla video-arte, mette in risalto, con sguardo critico o ironico, la naturale propensione alla quotidianità, agli affetti familiari, agli interessi e ai riferimenti culturali, ponendosi in una panoramica interpretativa più ampia. Nel corso degli anni è stato protagonista di personali e collettive artistiche; nel Dicembre 2014 è stato uno dei fondatori del “Collettivo Artistico Indipendente Contemporaneo MADRE”, di cui è membro insieme ad altri 10 artisti di diversa provenienza culturale. Il collettivo, curato da Marco Colombo e Francesca Rosini, ha intrapreso un progetto di mostra itinerante in differenti città italiane ed europee.
Anacronisticamente malinconica, l’intera indagine di Foresta racchiude le speranze e le testimonianze delle ricerche artistiche del primo Novecento. Nei suoi colori è concentrata l’intenzione dei fauves.
Nelle figure invece, è vivo il consumato ricordo sedimentato nella memoria delle sue esperienze di vita quotidiana, molto vicine ai consunti ritratti, autoritratti e amanti di Schiele. La continua ricerca in Foresta diventa nel tempo l’unica ragione esistenziale di praticare arte: viene presto spostato l’ago storico, facendo un balzo in avanti fino alle ricerche dell’espressionismo astratto: con le grandi tele e le stesure di colore vibrante di Rothko, Gottlieb, Newman, Reinhardt e di tutti i rappresentanti del color fild painting.
