Heir to the Great Symbolists of the late 19th century, Aimé Venel offers us a luminous body of work.

In 1974, Aimé Venel met Edouard Mac'Avoy (1905-1991), a student of Bonnard and Vuillard who worked with Braque. He continued his studies in his studio until 1978. Aimé Venel is a member of the Salon d'Automne and a member of the Salon des Artistes Français: Bronze medal in 1981 and silver medal in 1985. Mayor's Prize (Paris 10th) in 1996. In 1989, he entered the "Who's Who in International Art", in 1991, in "Prestige of Painting and Sculpture Today in the World" and since 2001, in the "Dictionnaire Guid'arts Cotation". Grand Prix de la Ville de Béziers in 2005. Akoun Dictionary "The Rating of Painters" 2019. Akoun's Dictionary of Works on Paper 2021.
