Manuel A. Gómez
I was born in Costa Rica, Central America where I graduated as Chemical Engineer, and career to which I was devoted until my establishment in USA, since 1999. In Costa Rica, as a student of the well known artist Antonio Mejía (Salvadorian) for a period of 5 years (1990-1995), I acquired the drawing technique and painting ability in a variety of media, especially in oil, pastel and pencil.
Due to my professional work in the industrial field of painting production (architectural and industrial), I was introduced to the color, experience that I’ve taken advantage of and it’s reflected through the strength of my art work. My art inclination came with me since I was born. I remember drawing and painting in my childhood, but it’s not until my arrival to USA that I’ve been devoted to the artistic production. This career has filled me with satisfaction in a relatively short period of time.
I was a member of the Full Circle Arts in Hickory, NC. My work has been exhibited in Hispanic and American communities
