Nature has always been a source of inspiration for the self-taught person that I am. Drawing, painting, and all forms of artistic expression have allowed me to reveal my sensitivity "on edge".

In the 1970s, as a student of Maurice BOUCARD, painter and theater designer, the techniques that interested me were drawing and oil painting. For a few years on "stand by", I kept a devouring passion for everything related to art in general.

In the 1990s, I discovered mosaics. Extremely wide range of supports, limitless materials, total creativity.

Then, I resumed drawing classes, discovered pastel and modeling with Jean Claude MARC, (since deceased), who, from his passion, made mine. My assiduity in portrait and nude classes, allowed me to acquire experience and to take the necessary confidence to always move forward and try new techniques.

For about ten years, I accompanied students every Wednesday in the pastel technique within the framework of the MERMET workshop (in CUSSET, near VICHY, FRANCE). I'm still involved with a group of artists who have become my friends.

Today, I'm taking up oil painting with a palette knife again and producing copies. Always something new. That's the secret of my enthusiasm.
