Adrien Blatzezyk / A.ZYK est artiste dessinateur. Depuis 2010, il développe une série de dessins qui en compte, à ce jour, plus de 300. La plupart d'entre eux sont réalisés sur du papier au format A4: tous numérisés afin de pouvoir mieux les dupliquer sur d'autres supports (décalcomanie pour tatouage temporaire, motif de t-shirt, reproduction à-même le mur ou sur rouleau de papier-peint...). Il est, en quelque sorte, son propre copiste.
La question du corps et de ses mutations y est prépondérante: animalisation ou humanisation, machinisation, sexualisation. Il s'en dégage un style visuel qui emprunte à la bande-dessinée ou au dessin dit d'illustration. Sorte d'éloge à une imagination débordante qui sort du cadre, qui s'émancipe de ses propres cases. Le dessin y est souvent caricatural, exagéré, à la fois drôle et cruel tel son humour, noir sur blanc.
S'il devait y avoir ici une trame narrative avec un début, un milieu et une fin, tel le récit linéaire auquel n'échappe jamais la BD, l'artiste serait sans aucun doute cartooniste.
