Biography
Abeer Farid Shawky
Abeer holds a Bachelor's degree from the Cinema Institute, specializing in directing, and has worked in the field of directing for several years. Since childhood, she has pursued painting as a hobby, showcasing her work in numerous exhibitions since 2017.
My Passion for Painting
For me, painting is a journey of self-expression and discovery. Each canvas becomes a reflection of my thoughts and emotions, blending colors and forms to tell stories from deep within. Painting is where I find freedom and purpose, connecting me to the world in a language beyond words. Through each piece, I share my vision and invite others to see the world through my eyes.
I pour my heart into photography and poetry, channeling my boundless creativity and deep passion for the arts.

CAIRO – 29 November 2022: On December 1 at 6 p.m., Head of the Egyptian Opera House Magdy Saber will inaugurate an art exhibition titled “Eyes of the Soul” for artist Abeer Farid Shawki, in Ziad Bakir Hall.
The exhibition will run until December 7.
The exhibition includes some 40 paintings of different materials.
The artist Abeer Farid Shawki inherited the love of art from her father, the late legendary artist Farid Shawki. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the Film Institute, and worked in directing for several years. She has been practicing drawing as a hobby since childhood, then she tended to obtain free studies for it. She also practices photography and writes poetry. Shawki has also participated in several successful group exhibitions.

الخميس.. رئيس الأوبرا يفتتح معرض "عيون الروح" بقاعة زياد بكير
يفتتح الدكتور مجدي صابر، رئيس دار الأوبرا المصرية، فى السادسة من مساء الخميس المقبل، معرضا فنيا، تحت عنوان "عيون الروح" للفنانة عبير فريد شوقي، بقاعة زياد بكير، والذى يستمر حتى الأربعاء 7 ديسمبر 2022.
يضم المعرض حوالي 40 لوحة فنية بخامات مختلفة "ميكسد ميديا".
وقد ورثت الفنانة عبير، حب الفن من والدها الفنان الراحل فريد شوقي، حيث حصلت على بكالوريوس معهد السينما، وعملت بالإخراج لعدة سنوات، وتمارس الرسم كهواية منذ الطفولة ثم اتجهت إلى الحصول على دراسات حره له، كما تمارس فن التصوير الفوتوغرافي وكتابة الشعر.
