Born 1987

A.Na is an artist photographer author whose passion for art emerged after many wanderings. Both in front of and behind the camera, she explores and does not forbid herself anything, as long as she can let her thoughts come out of herself and express what she cannot put into words. Its objective is to extract and fix a little of the substantial marrow, to seize the elusive and to retain the life.

For A.Na, photography is an attempt to respond to the intolerable violence that the world inflicts on her. It is this vision of creation that prompted her, in 2019, to follow Antoine D'Agata's internship at the Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie in Arles, to go beyond her limits.

His photographic work explores the relationships between the intimate and the universal, the real and the imaginary, fiction and a certain form of documentary to the limits of the medium. In a poetic approach to the image, she develops an author's photograph that crosses the question of identity reappropriation in connection with filiation, the body, disappearance and animality.

What begins as a confrontation quickly turns into a cacophony of temptations leaving only the sense of what could have been and the improbability of a new synthesis. A.Na continues to create and explore new artistic avenues, always seeking to express her unique vision of the world.
