Chess set is the only original and does not have any copies and duplicates.
Chess pieces and a chessboard are made by hand from Real Elk Horn, a Real Mammoth Tusk and decorated with precious stones Olivine Chrysolite and birch root.
The main frame of the chessboard has two drawers inside for storing chess pieces.
Each of the chess pieces is made by hand from the elk horn.
Each of the chess squares on the board is made by hand from elk horns.
In each of the dark squares on the board there is a square made of mammoth tusk and a precious stone.
Decorations and details of white on the chess pieces is a real mammoth tusk.
The set was made by hand, so the modeling took about two years.
The origin of subjects and images go far back to the Far North.
Peliken - god of happiness, good mood, joy and fun.
Peliken (keeper) is a cheerful, pot-bellied little man with a smile from ear to ear, bringing good luck, joy, wealth, destroying human envy, stupidity, troubles, everyday turmoil and bad thoughts. There is a belief that by rubbing pelicens on the stomach, a person becomes lucky and invulnerable to dark forces.
Expressing in the chess pieces of Pelikenov, I convey the positive energy of happiness and good mood.
The materials used in the manufacture of chess reflect wealth and the Pelikens serve as an amulet protecting the owner's home.
