We were just drifting through the city, having a blast, talking all the time, getting close to each other and I had my camera ready all the time. I was looking for her true self and the essence of that day.
And then we were crossing Tower Bridge in a crowd and N. just turned and looked at me and that was it. Everything of her and some part of myself is in that London portrait of N.

Paul Alba views life as a challenging expedition into the unknown within himself, comprised of dark and invisible worlds, distant and unexplored lives, and parallel realities.
Paul began expressing himself through photography very early in life, but chose not to pursue a career as a photographer. He became a professional pilot, always carrying a camera whenever possible.
When his years as a pilot ended, he had more time for art, and Paul's attention shifted again to photography.
His artistic work is characterized by his humanist thinking and pays homage to the complexity of the human condition.
With this approach to his subjects, Paul Alba leaves space for his subject, the viewer and himself in each of his photos.
Paul Alba photographs both digitally and on film, using both mediums to express his artistic vision and capture the multiple facets of the reality he explores.
