The idea of this painting came when I looked at the tarot layout for that month which was difficult for me, but very significant. The card fell out was King of Cups. King of Cups is an empathic, sensitive, calm, creative person. It also said that he has water sign. He would help, bring peace, inspiration and holiday in life.

Then I wondered: how could I meet him? There was a very strict lock down then, it was quite problematic to even go shopping. That month I was strongly inspired by performers whose music and even mind-set and way of life inspired me a lot.

Member of one them left a great impression on me. I watched dance show with his participation. With each ep, it became more and more clear how much he loves dancing. And it was not so important for him how many points he will get, he enjoyed the dance itself. This is the case when they say that he is not a man of art, he is art itself. He also an excellent vocalist and artist. I got the distinct impression that he was born for art in any of its manifestations. As some of you may have guessed, we are talking about Ten from WayV.

At that time I was thinking about what subject to use to express my thoughts in paintings. There was a lot to think about, compare, make decisions. Mentally, this period took a lot of strength, physically and morally. But this artist inspired me to strive to express myself through art as much as possible. Suddenly I decided to check his sign, it was a water sign.

King of Cups is someone who can enjoy life and create something new. Therefore, the man in the picture is sitting in a field of grass, admiring a flower under the light of a full moon. All the elements in the painting are symbols that come to my mind when I think about his personality: notes as he loves music and vocals, full moon because he somehow is similar to it, humble but radiant, hopeful, enigmatic and thoughtful.
