The idea came from my great love to such thing as night. If it weren’t the fact that it’s more dangerous time of a day and you still need to sleep at night, think I would love night more than day.
This collection is also connected with my love to image and atmosphere of holiday, party. I also get excited about how the image of holidays and partys are shown in films and music videos. Glitter, music, dancing, fireworks, light music, beautiful costumes, funny people - it all seems so attractive. When I look at it, it seems like a miracle is about to happen.
By the collection I wanted to remind you that everything in the world is about balance. If there is white, then there must be black, yin and yang, light and shadow. It does not happen that there was one, but there was no other. Same with people. As well as the seemingly dark sides of the personality are shown against the background of bright colors. This creates a balanced personality and this is the whole essence and beauty, you should not deny or try to get rid of your shadow. This is the same part of us that makes us who we are. And I find it all wonderful.
The collection is made predominantly in neon, vivid colors to convey the vivacity of the atmosphere and characters. They are all bright, shining, interesting and unusual and at the same time very familiar to many of us. Looking at many of the characters, you will most likely remember one of your close friends or perhaps your partner. Or maybe you remember a nice old friend. It was very difficult to recreate the neon color with oil paints, but this made the collection full of life, I hope you appreciate it.
