Born in 1984, Korent refined his artistic vision at the College of Visual Arts in Ljubljana, earning a Master’s degree in Painting under the mentorship of Professor Mladen Jernejec. His work is deeply informed by his interest in perception theory and neuroaesthetics, examining how images shape thought and emotion. His compositions balance precision and ambiguity, engaging viewers in a dialogue where meaning constantly shifts and unfolds. Korent’s work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, earning recognition for its depth, conceptual rigor, and visual intensity. In 2020, two of his works were acquired for the New Wave art collection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, further solidifying his presence in the country’s contemporary art scene. He lives and works in Ljubljana.
