Expressing myself producing Artworks is a blessing. Painting gives me many reasons to feel myself fully rewarded in life. I studied Engineering, and I feel proud of being able to use the professional knowledge of the engineer when creating Art. 

ART EXHIBITIONS, AWARDS AND COMPETITIONS

April 2024-My painting "Octopus´s Garden" won the Popular Vote Award in the 29th Juried International Virtual Exhibition "Breaking the Rules, by New York People and Paintings Gallery.

March 2024-My painting "Now And Then" won the Curator´s Award in the 28th Juried International Virtual Exhibition "Dreams and Reality", by New York People and Paintings Gallery.

December 2023- My painting "The Two Faces of Love" was selected to be exposed in the International Virtual Exhibition "Connecting Borders with Masters of Art" sponsored by International Art Group Liesel Cerna Studio.

November 27th to December 10th 2023- My painting Four was selected to be exposed in New York People & Paintings Gallery Curated International Virtual Exhibition "The Gallery´s Storeroom 2023".

November 4th and 5th 2023-My painting "Whispers" (2023) was exposed in the International Virtual Art Exhibition "Chromatic Harmonies" sponsored by Aries Art Gallery. 

My painting Four (2022) received two art awards from International Art Group "Musing", "Exciting Colorations" in August, and "Gentle Dreams" in September, both in 2023.

May30th to July 30th 2023-I participate with my painting Four (2022) in the XVII International Exhibition Spring Season MundoArti Virtual Museum sponsored by MundoArti Gallery.

July 2022 - I received the award COUP DE COEUR in the international Art4Competition.

April 29 - June 29/2022 : XII International Exhibition Virtual Museum "Spring" by Spanish Art Gallery MundoArti

March 2022: Awarded the Popular Vote in the 20th Juried Exhibition "A Spring Tradition" sponsored by New York People & Paintings Gallery, with my artwork Conceiving Spring

Dec. 4th 2022:The journal El Nuevo Herald published an extensive report about Zaplaflora art and his artistic career.

 Jan. 24 1998: Journalist Erwin Pérez published in El Nuevo Herald the report “Con Color Ecológico”.He widely commented my artistic career and my artworks

2008 : Cuban poet and writer Orlando González interviewed me in Radio/TV Martí program
