Yongqiang Xu

Born in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China, he loves painting and calligraphy. In 1992, he graduated from the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Correspondence University. In 2018, he joined the Western Canada Chinese Calligraphy Association. He has won an award in the association’s competition. In 2019, he joined the Canada Chinese Artists Federation in Vancouver and became a permanent member. He is currently a director of the Canada Chinese Artists Federation in Vancouver and a director of the Western Canada Chinese Calligraphy Association. He loves nature and lives in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. He often goes hiking in nature, enjoys the beautiful scenery, sees green lakes, snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, and mountain flowers, and draws all these beautiful things into his paintings.
