Elena Minkova

The Russian artist. She was born in Russia.
In 2003 she entered the Business College to study disciplines such as finance and taxes. But the craving for art did not pass, sometimes she sketched and made copies from books on the art of famous painters. At that time she was impressed by such outstanding artists of the Renaissance as Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo, Botticelli. This was the reason that Elena entered the Jamal Art School in 2005.
After graduation, she moved to Moscow, where at first she worked in a different direction. Over time, it turned out to combine the main work with painting. Gradually leaving the main job helped her to realize as an artist.
Her work is inspired by her close relatives, loved ones and friends, who provide tremendous moral support and love and thereby give strength for new work.
Elena loves mainly to use a cold palette, shades of blue. She writes in mixed media with abstraction, realism, impressionism. Her favorites are linen canvas and oil, but sometimes she paints with acrylics, watercolors.
Every day, the artist explores new skills and this gives her an impetus for the next beautiful work.
