"Fine-Arts" afdrukken op papier
Het is een proces van afdrukken op kunstpapier met pigmentinkt van zeer hoge kwaliteit en gedrukt in zeer hoge definitie. Het niveau van conservering is uitzonderlijk (meer dan 100 jaar), de kwaliteit, diepte en rijkdom van nuances overtreft de klassieke fotoprint op Argentijns papier.
Glanzend afgewerkt
Afgezien van zijn uitzonderlijke dikte, bestaat het vezelpapier uit een alfa-cellulosebasis zonder zuur en is het bedekt met bariumsulfaat en een microporeuze laagabsorptie versterkende pigmenten tijdens het afdrukken. Dit papier heeft een puur witte kleur, vergeelt niet naar licht en is speciaal ontworpen voor weerstand en veroudering. Het wordt gebruikt door grote musea over de hele wereld omdat het een uitstekende resolutie biedt, waardoor diepe en dichte kleuren worden weergegeven.

La perspective qui s'étend vers l'horizon crée une sensation d'immensité écrasante, comme si cette transformation était inévitable et omniprésente. J'ai délibérément choisi des couleurs chaudes et saturées pour le sol et le ciel, contrastant avec les tons froids des écrans, pour évoquer la tension entre notre humanité organique et la froideur technologique qui nous envahit.
On peut observer comment les écrans affichent tous des nuages similaires, suggérant une homogénéisation de la pensée malgré l'illusion de choix. La lumière qui émane des écrans crée des ombres allongées, comme si la technologie projetait une présence plus grande que les humains eux-mêmes. Cette composition rythmée par la répétition des silhouettes et des écrans évoque une procession presque hypnotique, où chaque individu suit le même chemin sans remise en question.
In this work, I wanted to capture the essence of our hyperconnected era where technology replaces human identity. The suited silhouettes, anonymous and uniform, traverse an urban landscape transformed into a forest of screens. Their heads, replaced by televisions, symbolize how media and information have supplanted our individuality.
The perspective extending toward the horizon creates a sense of overwhelming immensity, as if this transformation were inevitable and omnipresent. I deliberately chose warm, saturated colors for the ground and sky, contrasting with the cold tones of the screens, to evoke the tension between our organic humanity and the technological coldness that invades us.
One can observe how the screens all display similar clouds, suggesting a homogenization of thought despite the illusion of choice. The light emanating from the screens creates elongated shadows, as if technology projects a presence larger than humans themselves. This composition, rhythmed by the repetition of silhouettes and screens, evokes an almost hypnotic procession, where each individual follows the same path without questioning.
