«Как, этот поворот корабля в маршруте не обозначен, не предусмотрен?! Нет, всё, поворачиваем назад, а то я буду нервничать. Уже себя призраком чувствую, моя жизнь в этих темных и скользких местах не стоит ни копейки - возьмут меня за компанию или нет, укокошат за компанию или разберутся, что я тут не при чем, заедем мы в тьмутаракань или же на пьяную свадьбу, где трое танцуют с ножами - гадать не хочу. Непродуманно с дураками связался! Смеетесь, будто до старости доживете…» - потеряв глаз, мой пират как будто сломался; теперь он вечно на нервах, скандал за скандалом - хотя корабль повернул лишь потому, что рулевой засмотрелся на местных ворон...
("Разве есть в море вороны?!" - опять облился холодным потом пират. Он понял уже, что его будут пытать и завозят в море поглубже, чтобы его криков было уже не слыхать...)
