Whatshisname

Sebastian Burdon, alias Whatshisname, is a contemporary Polish artist. He creates art using both digital and traditional mediums, communicating ideas that cannot be expressed in words alone. His works encourage the viewer to look at the world and question it in a derisive and unorthodox way. The idea of his pseudonym "Whatshisname" came to him through his personal struggle to remember the names of other artists, and he was also inspired by the song "Whatshername" by the American punk band Green Day.

This young artist is now well established worldwide in contemporary art, especially within the world of Toy Art, and much appreciated for his Koons-inspired balloon dogs.

Sebastian Burdon was born in 1982, in Poland in 1982 and currently resides in England.
