This man was performing in Las Armas in Centro Historico, Queretaro. He was wearing typical Toltec costume, but using modern flourescent fabrics that Mexicans love. The result is very bright and colourful. To get the effect of these materials I used golds and flourescent acrylics. The result is very Mexican and dramatic.
It is painted in acrylic paint and inks on bastidor with fully painted edges to give the painting greater depth. Consequently it can be mounted on the wall without a frame and will look great as an integral part of your wall.
