Salvador Dalí was a multifaceted artist, he developed a lot of designs both for famous brands and in the field of interiors. And it was to him at the time, as a designer who was heard by everyone, that managers from the Renault Group turned to when the new Renault Nervastella car was being developed - they offered to develop a body for this model. Victor saw and developed characteristic features of Dala in the image of a car.
By the way, did you know that Renault cars were the first to cross the desert on wheels? To them, these were only semi-tracked cars. That is why this elite car is depicted in such incredible conditions for it - this is a reference to this glorious transition.
It is believed that the elephants in the paintings further symbolize power, which outwardly looks quite strong, but rests on "mosquito legs". When Salvador Dalí lived, two wars also raged, which gave him a sense of the ghostly power of those "huge" people who decided the fate of the world. Victor has these elephants going in a caravan, and most importantly - in the right direction - to the north, where there is a place for all the rulers who yawn at the borders of others. On the backs of elephants, there are more varied clocks, which emphasize the meaning of the Latin expression, which can be seen on the sand dune tempus fugit, a Latin phrase that is usually translated into English as "time flies."
The expression comes from line 284 of Book 3 of Virgil's Georgics, where it appears as fugit irreparabile tempus: "it runs away, irreparable time." The image of a clock from Salvador Dala's paintings with a flowing hourglass dial emphasizes this expression even more, because time flows like sand.
So this painting is an evocation of Dali's symbolism with Zinchenko's symbolism.
