Ladies and Gentlemen! Here is another story from the Canadian storyteller Victor Molev. At dawn someone brings to the square of one of the cities of the Fairy World a huge barrel organ, created by the imagination of a fairy tale architect. In each cell of this amazing structure sits a musician - many of them - and together they form an orchestra. The orchestra begins to play its music, and the louder it plays, the lighter the sky becomes outside the windows of the little rooms of the pre-dawn musicians! And now dawn is coming to the fairy-tale city, the fairyland and the fantastic world created by the artist's imagination. Some of the musical windows open into other dimensions, and one of them, perhaps, into our own. This will allow us to meet the dawn a moment earlier. A dawn without war, violence and humiliation, and a beautiful tale from the artist's fantasy world will enter our lives as well!

Victor Molev is een hedendaagse bekroonde Canadese kunstenaar. Hij werkt in de stijlen Decoratief Realisme, Fantasie, Symbolisme en Surrealisme. Halverwege de jaren zeventig volgde hij als aspirant-jonge kunstenaar teken- en schilderlessen bij de Moskouse beeldhouwer Tatyana Vishnyakova. Maar pas toen hij begin twintig was, maakte Molev via boeken en tijdschriften kennis met het werk van Salvador Dali, Max Ernst, René Magritte, MC Escher en Frank Frazetta. Molev was ongelooflijk geïnspireerd door deze artiesten die als mentoren voor hem werden.
Na een opleiding architectuur te hebben genoten, werkte de kunstenaar tien jaar in het veld. Daarna werkte hij als decorontwerper bij het Pushkin Opera en Ballet Theater. Beide banen worden nog steeds weerspiegeld in de creatieve processen van de kunstenaar. Hij heeft zijn eigen unieke en intuïtieve wereld van dromen en absurditeit gecreëerd. Zijn werken zijn oprecht naïef en vriendelijk.
Victor Molev werd geboren in 1955 in Gorky, Rusland. Zijn werken werden over de hele wereld tentoongesteld, waaronder het kunstmuseum van Saint-Frajou, Frankrijk. Molev heeft ook deelgenomen aan tal van internationale wedstrijden voor humoristische tekeningen en heeft talloze zilveren en bronzen medailles gewonnen.
