"Flowing Through Memory" (2025) 绘画 由 Vera Hoi

"Flowing Through Memory" is a large mixed-media painting (oil and acryl paint) measuring 90 x 90 cm, part of my landscape series "The Geometry of Letting Go".

This series is about memory. I didn’t choose autumn by chance – it shows us how beautiful it can be to let go.

This painting carries pieces of past — soft, shifting, sometimes clear, sometimes fading. I didn’t try to hold onto anything. I just let the memories flow , like water, like light.

The geometric forms speak of memory: at times sharp and defined, at times broken and dissolving. They surface, blur, transform — like thoughts and emotions that move through us, asking only to be felt, not held.

The deep blues, golden fields, and glowing rust tones hold these echoes — grounded yet dissolving. It’s a quiet moment, suspended in between — not quite then, not quite now.

With this series, I make my own landscapes of memory visible – somewhere between light and form, nature and memory.

The artwork will be shipped without a frame and will be ready to hang.

The artwork is titled on the back and signed on the front, and it comes with a certificate of authenticity.
