There are two thick layers of color in this painting. I started by spreading a great amount of color onto the canvas.
When the artwork's first layer was dry and I had a texture to work with - I added a mixture of black, white, and gold.
The artwork is 160cm in diameter.

The large moon inspired a mysterious cosmic moon, soft lines I had seen once at night. It was enormous. The view was so fantastic that the image stuck in my mind for a long time.
