Born in 1965, city of Ekaterinburg. Studied at the Omsk Technological Institute of Consumer Services (art and technology department) and graduated from the Ural Academy of Architecture and Art (city of Yekaterinburg) (department of monumental and decorative art). The artist's career began with the exhibition "Pups-art" (1998), which presented ornaments made from children's dolls and popular industrial packaging, as well as remakes of famous paintings (using dolls). In the grip of the universal artistic code, he developed a special way of creating an image, thanks to which his painting is so plastic that the works create the effect of casts taken from paintings by old masters: the artist is driven by the idea of ​​testing the latter for "strength" (exhibition "Casts", 1999). In a similar way, Ankudinov works not only with traditional pictorial myths, but also with the "new visuality", including contemporary advertising printed products. Participant of the catalog "Artists of Russia. 1997-1998" and Who is Who in Contemporary Art 1997-1998.
