Durante buena parte de mi camino como pintora, puse el acento en que las figuras que pintaba se sintieran mujeres de carne y hueso. El foco estaba en la piel, el borde entre la persona y lo que la circunda, parte de lo que está dentro se trasluce en la piel, campo de la batalla entre lo que se quiere ocultar y lo que sale a la superficie de todas maneras y también superficie del cuerpo en la que se escribe algo nuevo, se presenta algo distinto a lo esperado.
Más recientemente fue surgiendo una transformación de lo corpóreo, del contorno y de la materia, para llevar al extremo de la duda el borde, hacerlo confuso, permeable, atravesado, deshecho, en una tensión sutil entre lo que está contenido y lo que se deja ir, produciendo un ir bordeando de otro modo, con otras mixturas e interacciones
Fue apareciendo lo fluido, que auna el espacio y la figura, la figura que se vacía en ese espacio, que tiene algo de acuático, de amniótico, de profundidad y de luz.
En mis pinturas conviven la resistencia a llenarse con el vacío que tiene presencia, y se necesitan mutuamente.
