Je suis tombé un peu par hasard dans l'univers de l'art,
persuadé que tout le monde s'intéressait à la sculpture.
Je me suis lancé dans cette aventure avec passion, enthousiasme et curiosité pour constater in fine que ça n'intéressait absolument personne...
Mais j'ai quand même continué parce que j'y trouvais un plaisir immense.
J'avais aussi l'impression que j'avais un message à faire passer, à moi même et à l'humanité mais je ne peux pas le définir avec précision..
La sculpture est toujours liée au contexte social dans lequel elle est produite.
Biensûr, il y aura toujours une différence entre un sculpteur minimaliste, un sculpteur s'inspirant du style réaliste du 19ème siècle ou encore un sculpteur surréaliste. Pour ma part c'est de l'art abstrait
Tous ces mouvements ne sont que des considérations plus ou moins compliquées sur le réel, car ce que nous pensons, touchons, ressentons est toujours tiré du réel.
Je crois que ma pensée est politique, et cette politisation imprègne d'une façon ou d'une autre ma sculpture.
Mais je ne cherche pas à faire passer un message univoque.
Disons que j'utilise l'espoir, le drame ou l'échange comme base et je sculpte par dessus.
Dans quelle mesure cela se retrouve t-il dans le résultat final, c'est au spectateur de le dire.
