Léa Croison est née en 1993 à Metz.
Elle est titulaire d’un Master en recherche, création et plasticités
contemporaines à l’École des Arts de la Sorbonne à Paris.
Auparavant, elle a obtenu un BTS en Design de Produits, pour
penser les objets, les concevoir et les réaliser. Questionner l’objet
dans son utilisation, mais aussi dans sa fabrication, sa durabilité et
enfin son recyclage. Ce qu’il l’a amené à passer un Diplôme des
Métiers d’Art en Céramique Artisanale à l’École Duperré à Paris.
Depuis 2017, elle donne des cours dans différents organismes
(écoles, centres, associations et ateliers).
Après plusieurs années dans un atelier collectif à Paris, elle s’est
installée en Normandie où elle conçoit ses productions et où elle
enseigne.
L’objet dans son ensemble, sa place dans notre quotidien, son
positionnement en tant que vecteur social, sa pertinence forment le
fil conducteur de sa formation et de son projet professionnel.
Sa démarche s’inscrit dans un circuit s’appuyant sur une fabrication
artisanale, des matériaux naturels et locaux, et une conscience
écologique.
Elle a une réflexion aboutie de ce qu’elle produit et met au monde.
