Toute petite, elle est attirée par les couleurs, matériaux et textiles, en quête de "beau", qu' elle concrétise par la pratique du dessin, de la peinture, de la décoration et du stylisme.
La découverte de Matisse et du Fauvisme en cours de dessin au lycée, sera déterminante : c'est le coup de foudre pour la couleur pure posée en aplats, souvent cernée, traduisant un regard fougueux et sans entraves posé sur le sujet.
Elle obtient une Maîtrise en Lettres modernes et une Licence en Histoire de l'art et Archéologie, ce qui lui permet d'assouvir sa vocation d'enseigner, de transmettre...
