Maria Kozyrenko (1986, Kharkiv, Ukraine), an artist and writer. Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. After the beginning of the active phase of russian aggression on the territory of Ukraine, in March 2022 moved to Clermont-Ferrand, France.
Art education: School of Arts (Kharkiv, Ukraine, 1993-1996), private courses of ukrainian artists Tatiana Pliska-Petrova (Kharkiv, Ukraine, 2018), Oleg Vinnik-Shtep (2021).
The author of 5 books (poetry, prose). In 2017 created the art project Ukrainian Hieroglyphs, which is an experiment at the intersection of graphics, calligraphy, linguistics and philosophy.
Participant in international exhibitions in Ukraine, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, France. The works are stored in state and private collections in Ukraine, France, Germany, USA.
I work with oil pastels on canvas. The main principle of creativity: "Art that understands you at first sight".
