Behind art stands art itself, derived from the inevitability of being what it is
1965 – Born on 30 March in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
She lives and works in the city of Plovdiv.
Works in the field of painting, interior design and colour concepts. She had Independent exhibitions in Sofia and Pazardzhik. Her works were shown during the International Arts Fair IMPRESSIA Plovdiv ’06. Her artworks are property of private collections in Bulgaria and abroad.
As an original author, she is known for her sacred motives, symbolic impressions and her abstract works of art. The art that she creates is saturated with strict individuality – it is passionate, mettle and innovatory.
Due to the understanding that the ancient signs and magic symbols are still somewhere in the consciousness of each and every one of us, we identify Mariana Toneva’s work as a game she plays on her own: her creative work is a spiritual travel towards her inner-self. With this inwardly vision she uncovers love and sends messages about awakening to all, who are able to make them out.
