Search of Soul - 8 (2016) 絵画 Kishor Gundigara によって

While working on my first series on paintings on Shiv, Shakti and Bindu , I was dawned by a major realization – “ Soul – is the essence of life”. A thousand question wrenched me – Does the soul exist? Is the soul the truth of existence or just a figment of imagination? Is the soul synonymous with Shakti? If the soul does exist, then where does it reside? Was it an intangible entity or a tangible part of the body embedded in the depth of my body.

This led me into a journey within the biological cavities of the physical self. I scanned through x-rays, endoscopies and MRIs that reveal the landscape of the body.

What I found were enormous vacant spaces, huge cavities and open areas interspersed with vital organs, Those inner spaces , the intriguing shapes and forms , the variety of substance fascinated me and I began to put down my impressions, artistically trans created on the canvas. The result was an exciting voyage of discovery of the tremendous diversity within.
