The Silver Age is a time of stormy spiritual life, the heyday of culture, fine arts, and poetry. He mesmerizes and fascinates me.
I dedicated this picture to Alexander Blok, a symbolist poet, and to the theater.
“The four plays of Alexander Blok represent a whole epoch in the history of the Russian theater,” Nikolai Gumilyov wrote back in 1918.
And when the daffodils get drunk
I grimace, spinning and ringing ...
But in the shadow of the last backstage
Someone is crying, pitying me.
