I love to travel; and when I have the opportunity I always visit the archeological museums/sites where I am at that moment. If it is possible i take a lot of pictures because it is never sure when can be useful. For an artist the most important thing is to gain experience and to see as much new things as the eye can bear. I like especially ancient creature, human-animal hybrid, demon and god depictions of different cultures ie: Hittite, Roman, Greek, Mesopotamian, Egyptian. These creatures can be found in our ancestors every day life by their surrounding objects, tools, gravestones, walls, etc. It is very inspiring to see how creatively and simply they could expressed their thoughts.
As a sign of respect and inspiration I would like to depict this theme in a modern way through my style.
My name is Szabrina Maharita. I am a Hungarian painter born in the Soviet Union, 1989. I graduated as a painter in Hungary at the faculty of Fine Arts and Painting of Karoly Eszterhazy College. I also graduated as a graphic designer, and in my free time I make digital paintings.
In my opinion anyone can make art in its own way; simply because it belongs to human nature. The human and abstract objects are my favourite subjects. My favourite techniques are oil and watercolor painting.
About my art: I like contrasts, vigorous brushstrokes, vivid colors and to leave the background blank, untouched. When I compose I try to discover the most interesting parts of the subject and paint that. I express my art through the harmony of colours. My favourite movement is expressionism.
I have several paintings throughout Europe and America. My paintings reached so far, to such places where I might never go and I am happy that a part of me exists in those places. I like to communicate with the audience. Many times people came to me and congratulated me for my artworks, that always motivates me. I appreciate when people give me feedback which can be good or bad, either way I accept and think about it. I am also very glad when someone decides to buy one of my artworks. I always put a handwritten message in the package along the artwork.
